I would love to hear from you. Please support the program.

The time is near for Jesus Christ's return. The decline of America's moral fabric is under attack. The average Christian is too comfortable in their sin. Politicians are corrupt along with many church leaders who refuse to preach the real Gospel. I am sounding the alarm!

Speaker 1:

Live from the Saints Headquarters in Tolleson, arizona, spreading the Gospel, equipping the Saints, standing for the word of truth, proclaiming God's grace. Now, on a podcast near you, welcome your host, pastor Joshua, on the Saints Will Overcome Ministries.

Speaker 2:

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. We're back, we're sitting in the seat, we're in headquarters, we're firing all cylinders. We are fighting the enemy on his own territory. Welcome everybody fighting the enemy on his own territory. Welcome everybody to the Saints Will Overcome Ministries. With Pastor Joshua Kapia. I just want to say welcome. God bless you, it's great to have you. It's been a minute since we've been in the commander's chair taking on the enemy.

Speaker 2:

There's a lot to talk about today, ladies and gentlemen, from politics to the decay of the moral fabric of America, to the enemy getting a grip on this nation and basically lying to people and everybody walking around in the average society, thinking it's okay because we've got nice cars, fancy houses and everything else and our refrigerators are full. And I just want to get to the bottom of this. And I want to get to Romans, because we're going to have a minor interlude today, basically, and take a diversion from Sodom and Gomorrah, our last episode, and we're going to get into the meat and potatoes of what's really going on. Everybody's panicking, Everybody's really upset, concerned, angry, over what's happening in the Middle East, what's happening in Afghanistan. The Taliban and people are just super upset that we're pulling out. People love Biden. They love Trump. They want Trump back. What is going on, ladies and gentlemen? Well, I would like to contest and come at it from a different viewpoint and a different angle. We are not going to get our answer in man. We are not going to get an answer because man is fallible. We're not going to get an answer from Donald Trump and we are not going to get our answer from Joe Biden.

Speaker 2:

I would contend that this society has left God From so many people getting mad because they fight over the Ten Commandments not being displayed in courthouses. I think people and individuals need to display the Ten Commandments in their house before we start trying to storm court buildings. And one of my professors said it back in seminary the best we need to start living by the 10 commandments before we start trying to push the 10 commandments on everybody else. And I agree with that statement my professor made back in seminary, Because, I look around, the majority of people cannot even recite the Ten Commandments. So God has become a talking piece, a paperweight, something to do.

Speaker 2:

Church has become a rock concert and the church and the word is not the focus of attention. It's become the stage in the 21st century of America, and I've heard it repeatedly said I like going to church because the best part is the worship. Well, ladies and gentlemen, what about the word of God? Not the music, but the word of God, and I understand that music is important, but we have what's called religious consumerism in this country nowadays, ladies and gentlemen, Biblical literacy is at an all-time high. Families are falling apart, the divorce rate is high, Infidelity and homosexuality is running rampant in our churches and we wonder why we have a problem.

Speaker 2:

I would contend that it's not a political issue. I would contend that it's not some type of academic issue. I would contend that people aren't waking up with the joy of the gospel in their heart, that they don't have a desire to worship the creator, that that's not their first priority. I was talking to a buddy of mine before we get into soundbite this clip here that we're going to play, and a couple of my friends got really convicted because I asked them and I'm starting to look around and ask multiple people when you wake up in the morning, what is your first priority? Is it Jesus or is it something else? Do you get more joy out of a paycheck, a promotion, dating somebody that's not a Christian, having sexual relations to somebody. You're not married to slandering somebody, a new fancy car, a new pair of shoes, a new piece of jewelry, more than you become excited about? About the Lord Jesus Christ and his gift of salvation and sharing it.

Speaker 2:

Ladies and gentlemen, here on the Saints Overcome ministry, we're not going to play games anymore. We're going to get right to the root of it. We're going to take the ax to the root, we're going to go for it and we just really don't care if the gospel offends because it's supposed to offend. We're not supposed to be sleeping saints. We're supposed to be saints that are flourishing in our Lord's name, spreading the gospel and living the life and bearing witness in will, thought and deed, ladies and gentlemen. So, ladies and gentlemen, are you ready?

Speaker 3:

so bad news for joe biden tonight. You may remember that biden was a big backer of the violence against women act. Biden told us he was doing this to protect women, but now we learn that it's an act of hostility against women to acknowledge that women exist. It's deep sexism. The word women is itself an offense against women, assuming women is an actual category. We just learned that over the weekend, democrats voted to ban gendered language in House rules, and that means no more terms like father or mother, just in case you're wondering where they stand. On the family, that also means terms like women and men are out. That's where they are. On biology, and for good measure. Brother and sister and first cousin are also banned. On Sunday, democrats celebrated the move using the handful of words they have left us in the English language. Using the handful of words they have left us in the English language.

Speaker 4:

I think that the rules should reflect our values as an institution that is the most inclusive as possible. That reflects the gorgeous mosaic in every possible way of the American people.

Speaker 3:

It's inclusive and we're going to show you that by excluding entire words, in fact ancient categories of the human experience, from our language. By excluding, we will include got. That that's the gorgeous mosaic they described. Of course, that mosaic does not include nancy pelosi's own twitter bio, in which she describes herself as quote a mother, grandmother and dark chocolate connoisseur. Dark chocolate connoisseur. Dark chocolate connoisseur is the only term still allowed. Hard to imagine a weirder set of words strung together than those all in one place. But what's interesting is that almost everybody now sitting in the House of Representatives is violating these new rules, and no one more flagrantly than a member of Congress and part-time preacher called Emanuel Cleaver. He did it just yesterday when he led the House in prayer Watch.

Speaker 4:

Peace, even in this chamber, now and evermore. We ask it in the name of the monotheistic God Brahma and God, known by many names, by many different faiths, a man and a woman.

Speaker 3:

A man and a woman. So if you thought a man was an ancient affirmation that had nothing at all to do with biological sex, stand corrected. How does this empower women exactly? That's a question that tulsi gabbard, who is a former congresswoman from hawaii, a democrat, has been pondering. She introduced a bill last year to stop biological males from spitting women's sports. That bill is expected to be introduced later this month. And we said former, we didn't mean it, because until january 20th she still serves and we're thankful for that. Congressman, thanks for joining us tonight. So how does it empower women to ban the acknowledgement that women exist?

Speaker 5:

It absolutely does the very opposite of that and it's the height of hypocrisy for people who claim to be the champions of rights for women to deny the very biological existence of women and this recent rule change that the House just actually voted and passed on today that you were talking about removing references to, you know, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters from congressional rules and administration. It's mind blowing because it shows just how out of touch with reality and the struggles of everyday Americans people in Congress are, but also it shows that you know their first act as this new Congress could have been to make sure that elderly Americans are able to get the COVID vaccine now, alongside frontline health care workers, elderly Americans who have the highest mortality rates from this virus. But instead of doing something that could actually help save people's lives, they're choosing instead to say well, you can't say mother or father in any of this congressional language. It's astounding.

Speaker 3:

It's confusing too, because the very people who claim to celebrate diversity, differences and differences are what make the world interesting and worth living in, in my opinion, are the same ones trying to impose by force this creepy corporate sameness where we're all sort of widgets in a bin waiting for assembly Like. Do they really think there aren't differences between the sexes? Honestly sincere question.

Speaker 5:

I don't know how to answer or explain what they think, and this is why Congressman Mark Wayne Mullen and I we introduced my legislation the Protect Women's Sports Act that you briefly mentioned out of a recognition that this legislation is actually necessary. When you look at why Title IX was created, it was created out of this recognition that there is a biological distinction between men and women and boys and girls, and it recognized that, because of that, there needs to be a level playing field for girls and women to be able to compete and play in sports. Now, now, the reason why our bill is necessary to strengthen and clarify and uphold title nine is is because of the things that you're talking about, because there are people who are trying to undermine the very reason why title nine was put in place by denying my existence, denying the the existence of biological women. It defies common sense, it defies basic, established science. It just doesn't make any sense.

Speaker 3:

No wonder they called you a Russian spy. It was dangerous having you in the Democratic Party. I'm sorry you're leaving. Congressman Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, it's great to see you tonight. Thank you, thanks.

Speaker 2:

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm back and the UFOs, the aliens are here because nothing makes sense. But does it make sense? It makes total sense. There is a demonic attack on the design because once the liberals, the far left liberals, get a hold of manipulating the sexes and stating there's no such thing as sex anymore, they take the pillar of the gospel, of the Bible and destroy it, because it is not one of the fundamentals, it is the fundamental. The sexes have a distinction. Paul reiterates that, god reiterates that.

Speaker 2:

Ladies and gentlemen, we're not going to sugarcoat things here. We're on the attack. We're coming out, guns blazing, figuratively speaking. So what does this have to do with the United States of America? Like I said, I would contend we're not a nation under God. We haven't been a nation under God for a very long time. We're not a theocratic system. We're not a theocracy. God has pretty much become irrelevant in this country, in the sense that he's a conversational piece, because there's not a whole lot of living the gospel that I'm seeing going around in this country.

Speaker 2:

Ladies and gentlemen, we need to fight. We need to fight for truth and we need to start in our own home before we start trying to Bible, beat people and jam the gospel down their mouth. We need to start in us. We need to be regenerated, saved, redeemed by the blood of the Creator. So we're going to start at Romans 118 to 32. We're going to explain this. We're going to explain God's wrath against sinful humanity and I'm going to contest the notion that we're this so-called great country all under God.

Speaker 2:

Now let me preface this. I'm talking spiritually. We are a great country compared to a lot of countries. Totalitarianism, you know, the destruction of communism. We still have our freedoms, but for how long? Because every nation's downfall is the attack of the sexes on man and woman, the moral decline, because they're so busy on trying to fight for what the enemy wants. That's when the enemy sneaks in the back door, ladies and gentlemen, and he takes the country down. Read about Rome, the Greeks, their sexual behavior, their sexual acts, their lewdness, their debauchery, the emperors, the kings, the people in the Colosseum, raving and ranting. They wanted more blood. We've had more deaths in this country, according to abortion statistics, than every casualty of war in the world, ladies and gentlemen. And the unborn cry out to the heavens.

Speaker 2:

And we don't think wrath is coming to this country. Are we so arrogant that we have Little boys say that they're girls and politicians, and parents coddle that, nurture it and tell them it's OK. And we don't think wrath is coming to this country. In our churches we won't preach about repentance and sin and hell and we don't think wrath is not coming to this country. We've made Jesus Christ not the lion, but we've kept him as the little lamb and we've encouraged care-bear Christianity and we've taken the power, the judgment and wrath away from him because we don't want to offend churchgoers. And wrath is not coming to this country, ladies and gentlemen. We claim Christianity and there's not a lot of joy in Christ and we get excited over money more than the gospel. And wrath is not coming to this country.

Speaker 2:

I would contend that I pray that if you're listening to this broadcast, the time is coming, that Christ's return is imminent and I don't have a date and time because Christ even said, not even me, not even I, but the Father knows, but it will happen one day and he will come in the second coming and he will display his power and glory and and in wrath. So I would contend, as a Christian living in America don't be comfortable, because when you're comfortable you're in the most dangerous spot you can be at, because the enemy will pick you off. Let's continue, and I will contend against the notion that God has a covering on America and we're all somehow just okay because we're so arrogant, because we are America. Let's look at the moral decline, ladies and gentlemen. Paul goes to extreme lengths and detail to convey this message Romans 1, 18, 32. Are you ready? Well, let's go.

Speaker 2:

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world, god's invisible qualities, his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Excuse. Ladies and gentlemen beloved, when you walk outside and you witness the wind swaying, a tree, a child playing in the street, the beautiful moon and the stars in the heavens, that you gaze at, the warmth of the sun as it disperses its neutrinos, a song that is being sung, a new life being born, the dew coming from the heavens, the fragrance coming off a rose, it declares God's glory. And have you thanked him for that lately? Or are you so concerned with Bill's money and prosperity?

Speaker 2:

You have forgot that Paul is saying through inspiration of the Holy Spirit you are without excuse, pastor Joshua. You are without excuse For although they knew God, they neither glorified him nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Have you noticed that when an individual here in verse 21, that they didn't give thanks to him? There's a direct correlation to futility and foolishness and a heart becoming darkened. If you don't wake up every day, if I don't wake up every day and give thanks to the Lord, everything we do is futile and our hearts will progress into darkness and destruction. Beloved, let's carry on to verse 22. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles. There is a historical context to this. Paul is talking about people that used to worship idols, but it's imminent that we understand today that we are doing the same thing in this culture and even though I read this when we were talking about Sodom and Gomorrah, I have to go over this again so we can wake up and we can understand in this country what's going on.

Speaker 2:

Now let's continue to verse 24. Therefore, god gave them over, in the sinful desires of their hearts, to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. Let's break that down. What does that mean? Therefore, god gave them over. I know we sit here in churches, we sit here in the pews and we watch the pastor at the pulpit and we get really excited about the rock band, we eat our donuts and we drink our $5 lattes, ladies and gentlemen, and we go home feeling good and we tell God we've given you that one hour until next time. And lives don't change because truth isn't being preached and truth isn't being taught. When we get so far away from God and we know of his existence, like Ecclesiastes says, eternity is locked away in our hearts.

Speaker 2:

God pronounces judgment in verse 24. Well, what do you mean, pastor Joshua? Therefore, god gave them over In God's heavenly realm, sitting on his throne, in his role and wrath and judgment. God says I pronounce judgment on you and I give you over to your heart of sexual impurity and your depravity. And I pronounce judgment on you and I will let you go deeper into your sin, even though you think you're one of mine. Even if you sit in church for an hour, your life hasn't changed. You're doing the same things and I'm going to give you over and no longer woo you with the Holy Spirit. And this is one of the most dangerous judgments there are, because people wake up every day thinking they're fine and there's no fruit. But, like Jesus said, the ax is being taken to the root, not just Israel, but for the individual, and it will be cast in the fire. That's what Jesus said. So in verse 24, god pronounces judgment and gives them over to sexual impurity for the degrading of one another. They've exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served created things rather than the creator, who is forever praised. Amen.

Speaker 2:

You really want to get to the meat and you really want to get to the potatoes of what Paul is saying here. And this is why I say politics all aside. And I have friends and I know a lot of you are listening, because I have thousands of listeners. I know friends are sitting there and every day they're talking about the vaccine and the coronavirus and communism and everything else. On the right and then on the left they're saying that people are Neanderthals and they lack the insight on empirical evidence of what the vaccines can do. Insight on empirical evidence Of what the vaccines can do. And on the right, they're saying that you're going to become A walking magnet and there's heavy metals. Ladies and gentlemen, I asked one friend, a couple friends actually that are going through this tirade every single day If you Were that enthusiastic About God and the gospel, he would have used you to convert a thousand souls already.

Speaker 2:

It's written, the story is written. We will suffer and in the last days Jesus said they're going to be marrying and drinking and partying like in the days of Noah, and a lot of people think that has to do with the rapture. One will be taken, one will be left. That is not the rapture, ladies and gentlemen. It's a lot of bad Bible teaching in there. I got the credentials, I went to seminary and I would contend that one will be taken away in judgment and one will be left and preserved in Jesus Christ, and that's what Jesus meant. Judgment is coming and that's why he's using the story, the illustration of Noah. The people are going to be thinking they're okay and Christ says when I return, you're not going to be okay, unless you're really with me Because of this. Starting at verse 26, god gave them over to shameful lust. Even the women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way, the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another.

Speaker 2:

In the age of political correctness, I've even heard from church members, church goers and even elderships and people in pastoral ministry all roads lead to God. It's okay. Everybody's trying to find God in their own way. We're all going to get there. We can't be judgmental. We got to be politically correct because we got to keep the coffers flowing with money and keep preaching the prosperity gospel in America, because that's why everybody wants to hear and we need to reduce Christ to a care bearer. That's what's happened.

Speaker 2:

Do you know that the Bible says in the Old Testament that if a woman puts on a man's clothes and a man puts on a woman's clothes, it's an abomination and they should be taken outside of the camp and put to death? Now I know people are going to say whoa, pastor Joshua. But Jesus came and he's different. The New Testament's different, the Old Testament's different? Not at all, not in the slightest. The Bible says God is immutable, he's unchangeable Now? Should we do that today? Absolutely not. That was a theocratic system and God was governing that whole entire nation. But the principle is still there and God was going to come back and he's going to deal with that. And he's going to deal with it with the same type of wrath and the same type of judgment when Jesus Christ returns.

Speaker 2:

But people don't want to hear that. They don't want to hear that because it's just not savory, it's not enticing. And how can God be so judgmental? Well, I would appeal to everybody. God is a dichotomist. It is black and it is white, and that is how it is. Men committed shameful acts with other men and received in themselves the due penalty of their error.

Speaker 2:

Now I've heard pastors preach about STDs and all this and that, and this is not what verse 27 is talking about. It's talking about the dual penalty for their error in judgment, in wrath and whatever comes their way within the mystery of the counsel of God. And that will happen, ladies and gentlemen, and I'm on fire today because as I'm watching everything unfold in Afghanistan and Joel Biden pulling out which is one of the most cowardice things I've ever seen leaving Americans on the ground and Democrats literally sitting there defending him and people sitting here and saying it's Trump's fault and this and that. Ladies and gentlemen, this is shameful. What's happening in this country right now? Leaving people to die, leaving people to be destroyed, and it's like Joe Biden claims he's a Catholic.

Speaker 2:

And aren't we supposed to love our enemies? And if we do things, aren't we supposed to do them in a systematic way of withdrawal? But look at Joe Biden's spiritual life. Look at a lot of the Democrat spiritual life. Look at a lot of Republican spiritual life. Well, pastor Joshua, what are you? Democrat or Republican? Neither I'm a Christian.

Speaker 2:

I'm a bona fide, certified, jesus-loving maniac for Jesus. That's what I am. Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind. Ladies and gentlemen, when we don't retain the knowledge of God, it is replaced by the enemy's knowledge of evil and wickedness. And you know what God says. When you're not with me, when you don't stand with me, when you don't live as a Christian, when you claim you are or you're not a Christian in general, I will pronounce judgment if you don't use my knowledge and give you over to a depraved mind and give you over to a depraved mind. That is such a serious judgment, and our nation has been given over to a depraved mind. I do not think that I am so arrogant that this nation is so great in the sense, spiritually, that we are untouchable. The day is coming, ladies and gentlemen, the day of wrath, the day that Christ returns and pours out his judgment on the nations and it is not going to be good so that they do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. Look around around, ladies and gentlemen. We're a nation of greed.

Speaker 2:

The average christian I don't hear him say I want more jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus. I want more christ. I want to love more. I want to speak to my enemies and love them more. I want to preach and spread the gospel. It is. I want more. I can't get enough. My belly is full, my cabinets are overflowing, I'm vomiting all the material possessions Because I cannot contain anymore, and I want more. I'm fired up. I'm fired up because what I'm seeing right now Is not good. Let's continue on.

Speaker 2:

They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, god-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful. I, I, I, I, not God, god, god, god. They invent ways of doing evil. They disobey their parents. They have no understanding, no fidelity. You know what that means no faithfulness in the marriages, no faithfulness to Christ, no faithfulness to love, no love, no mercy. Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death Excuse me, that's in the New Testament Deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things, but also approve of those who practice them. Ladies and gentlemen, we're going to close it off there. We need to wake up, smell the roses, literally Enjoy the dew, and acknowledge God for what he is, because, like I always say, people are going to cringe at this statement. Hell is going to be full of people that are sitting in churches. Ladies and gentlemen, I love you Until next time. This is Pastor Joshua. God bless you all and have a great day.
